Disappointing outing when 9th last start at Geelong. Overlooking the last run but back to a shorter trip. Serious player. NORTHFIRE (3) Folded up in the straight when 10th last time at Quirindi. Should improve from the last run. Shows good early pace. One of the hopes. CHAMPAGNE QUEEN (7) Finished 5th last start at Brewarrina but has a positive gate. Georgina Mcdonnell and Monique Gavin have achieved a lot of success as a team. No surprise to see a forward showing and one of the main hopes in this race.
